Abstract
objetivos incluíram: identificar e inventariar elementos do património aquático, propor
culturais e ambientais. A gestão integrada e a promoção estratégica destes recursos

The results showed the existence of a vast material and immaterial heritage related to water, with high tourist and historical value. Proposals such as the creation of themed itineraries and the implementation of enhancement strategies have proved effective in diversifying the tourist offer and strengthening regional identity. The conclusion is that Miranda do Douro's water heritage is an essential resource for sustainable tourism development, providing economic, cultural, and environmental benefits. Integrated management and strategic promotion of these resources can transform the region into an ideal destination for sustainable tourism.
