Abstract
O objetivo deste relatório de estágio é apresentar o trabalho realizado no estágio
curricular decorrido no Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal de São João da
Madeira e caracterizar e analisar a aplicação do Benchmarking enquanto ferramenta de
gestão na indústria do calçado.
O estágio curricular teve como objetivo o desenvolvimento de projetos de
melhoria para PME da fileira do calçado, sendo o seu domínio nuclear o
desenvolvimento da plataforma de Benchmarking para a análise de gestão e análise
económico-financeira de empresas da fileira do calçado.
Este relatório de estágio apresenta uma revisão da literatura e uma análise
quantitativa da ferramenta de gestão Benchmarking. Para o efeito foi desenvolvido um
trabalho em duas etapas. A primeira etapa consistiu na análise de Benchmarking setorial
baseada numa abordagem quantitativa recorreu-se a dados financeiros primários do
período 2010-2011, tal como constantes da IES, disponibilizados pelo CTCP, de uma
amostra de 31 empresas da fileira do calçado, representadas pelo CTCP, CAE
15201.Seguindo-se uma análise de Benchmarking setorial para dois grupos (V.N. <5M€
e V.N.> 5M€) duma forma evolutiva nos anos 2010 e 2011. A segunda etapa consistiu
num teste ao funcionamento da plataforma do Benchmarking, onde para o efeito foi
selecionada aleatoriamente uma empresa associada do CTCP, designada “empresa do
Benchmarking”. Com base numa abordagem quantitativa recorreu-se a dados
financeiros primários do ano de 2011, tal como constantes da IES, disponibilizados pelo
CTCP de uma amostra de 16 empresas da fileira do calçado, representadas pelo CTCP,
as quais são produtoras de calçado, CAE 15201.
Em concreto, a nossa amostra (31 empresas), apresenta uma evolução positiva e
um bom desempenho de 2010 para 2011 em ambos os grupos. O teste efetuado à
plataforma do Benchmarking permitiu compreender a capacidade e o valor das técnicas
de Benchmarking como forma da “empresa do Benchmarking” identificar debilidades e
pontos fracos, possibilitando a programação de planos de ação para obter melhorias.
The objective of this internship report is to present the work done in the traineeship elapsed Footwear Technology Centre of Portugal São João da Madeira and characterize and analyze the application of Benchmarking as a management tool in the footwear industry. The traineeship aimed at the development of improvement projects for PME row of shoes, and its development of nuclear Benchmarking platform for management and analysis of economic and financial analysis of companies within the footwear. This internship report presents a literature review and a quantitative analysis of Benchmarking management tool. For this purpose an experiment was conducted in two stages. The first step was based on the analysis of sectoral Benchmarking on a quantitative approach we used the primary financial data for the period 2010-2011, as contained in the IES, provided by the CTCP, a sample of 31 companies within the footwear, represented by the CTCP, CAE 15201.Seguindo an analysis of sectoral Benchmarking for both groups (V.N. <5M€ and V.N.> 5M€) in a evolutionary way in the years 2010 and 2011 the second stage in testing the operation of the Benchmarking platform where to the effect was randomly selected an associated company of the CTCP, called "Benchmarking the company". The test performed on the platform Benchmarking allows us to understand the ability and the value of Benchmarking techniques as a way of "Benchmarking the firm" to identify weaknesses and weaknesses, enabling the programming of action plans for improvement.
