Abstract
atingir o objetivo deste estudo.
literatura realizada.
Currently, the labour market is made up of workers from several different generations with equally distinct traits. As such, the management strategies used by the organizations must be customized to meet the individual needs of the various employees. This work focuses on the millennial generation, that is, the generation of people born between 1980 and 2000, more specifically those that are almost entering the labour market, and aims to identify the expectations and perceptions of these young people in regards to their future job. This information will be useful for organizations as they will be able to adapt their recruitment and retention strategies to these potential workers. With this goal in mind, the students of the 2nd and 3rd year of the DEMC (Department of Economics, Management and Computing) courses of UPT (Portucalense University) were asked to complete a questionnaire in which the questions were directed to obtain information that would allow them to reach the purpose of this study. The results obtained allowed to identify the expectations and perceptions of the late millennials in relation to the work and are in agreement with the literature review.
