Abstract
comorbidades.
The Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) refers to a phase of evolution between the cognitive alterations typical of aging and the initial stage of dementia. Pharmacological treatments for this purpose are recent and have an efficacy rate that is still being evaluated, aiming to reduce the progression of the disease. In this sense, non-pharmacological treatments that work as complementary treatments are relevant, providing the patient with therapies capable of restoring well-being and, in some cases, may interrupt the progress of the disease. That said, the objective of the present investigation focuses on new rehabilitation and cognitive adaptation strategies in patients with Mild Cognitive Deficit. The search was carried out in the PubMed database, based on articles from the last 10 years. Assessing the impact of physical exercise and cognitive training in patients with MCI, without other comorbidities. The studies presented distinct methodologies and specific cognitive and physical tasks focused on improvements in different areas: Memory, attention, balance, strength, patient independence, cognitive plasticity, the articles sought to confirm whether the presented program provides improvements, stabilization or deterioration of patients with MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment).
