Abstract
perspetivas emergentes e as direções futuras no estudo e promoção do Talento. Este
estudo sistematiza discussões publicadas na última década. O processo implementado
garantiu a validade descritiva, validade interpretativa, validade teórica e pragmática. A
The Talented individuals perform activities superior to what is expected for their age group, and Talent development is supported by three factors: intrapersonal, environmental, and chance or opportunity. There are a number of individual and contextual characteristics that drive the development of Talent and, subsequently, the planning of programs to respond to the needs of these individuals. There is, therefore, a concrete need to systematize contributions from psychology and education sciences, reflecting critically on emerging perspectives and future directions in the study and promotion of Talent. This study systematizes discussions published in the last decade. The implemented process guaranteed the descriptive validity, interpretive validity, theoretical and pragmatic validity. The systematic quantitative and qualitative review of the literature served to broaden the interpretative possibilities of the results, ensuring compliance with three stages: initiation, procedure and exit; a total of 132 studies were considered, studies analyzed based on two categories of classification, namely the psychological architecture of Talent and intervention in educational, sporting or artistic contexts. Likewise, six nuclei of meaning were considered, namely identification characteristics, personal and contextual factors, high ability, metacognition, psychological intervention and Talent promotion programs. This paper concludes with a discussion of the readings of a decade of literature, highlighting the most relevant results, the critical evaluation of the research itself, the comparison of the results with the relevant literature and the signaling of the implications and the resulting recommendations of the study.
