dc.descriptionIt is traditionally accepted that there are four families of Legal systems: the civil law, the common law, Islamic law and socialist law. The last is a system where socialist principles are incorporated in substantive law and the third is a system where religious principles gain strength of law. We will not discuss the validity or merit of this classification.
