Abstract
ciclo do ensino secundário.
educativo, a formação do sujeito.
cidadania.
This paper discusses issues related to school conflicts that arise in everyday school student of II cycle of secondary education António de Carvalho Bettencourt. We know that the human being is by nature confrontational, most importantly, look for him to understand. In fact, using conflict creates something new to serve as a pathway for the development and progress. This time this research defined as a problem: the management of school conflicts that arise in the daily life of students of the second cycle of secondary education. Conflicts in the school context turn out to be one of the most visible reflections of adolescent’s vulnerable condition in the schools of II the secondary education cycle. Vulnerability, the individual predisposition to develop forms of non-adaptive behaviors that contributes to increasing disputes. Therefore, it is important to take to identify the causes that motivate the emergence of conflicts in everyday school life of students at this level of education as well as the protective factors that decrease or neutralize the effect of injury and favor a broader repertoire of adaptation effective. In this scenario, to be the school of the privileged environment of coexistence and development of social skills of students, presents itself as an important contribution to the control of the conflict, in addition to the more expensive goal of the educational process, the formation of the subject. In this sense, the school is facing one of its main challenges, working in conflict management at school to promote a healthy environment. It is in this perspective that the development of protective factors appears as a strategy to help the school to a greater control over the conflict and at the same time to fulfill one of its main challenges, transform school life experience in the development challenge citizenship.
