Abstract
O trabalho foi realizado com o propósito de compreender os efeitos da norma ISO 9001 nas empresas, bem como os seus os impactos da sua evolução. Este trabalho foi realizado com o intuito de mostrar que as organizações deviam apostar na certificação como forma de evolução e inovação, visto que esta lhes traz vantagens em relação a concorrentes não certificados. O método utilizado para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho foi, numa primeira fase, analisar a evolução da qualidade, tanto em Portugal como a nível mundial. De seguida, foi feita uma abordagem à medição do desempenho das organizações, referindo a sua evolução e alguns sistemas para a medição do mesmo. Posteriormente, analisámos o nascimento das normas ISO 9000 e a sua evolução desde 1993 até 2013, não esquecendo de mencionar as suas principais exigências e vantagens. De modo a reforçar e a fundamentar as teorias abordadas ao longo do trabalho, foi realizado um estudo empírico baseado num inquérito. O inquérito teve como objetivo analisar o impacto dos SGQ nas organizações. O inquérito foi enviado a organizações, que, segundo a base de dados utilizada, têm um SGQ de acordo com ISO 9001 implementado. Relativamente aos dados recolhidos, enquadrados nas respostas ao inquérito, estes foram analisados com base numa análise gráfica para conseguirmos obter uma análise mais clara dos resultados obtidos. No final, observámos que a maioria das organizações estão bastante satisfeitas com os efeitos que a implementação da ISO 9001 lhes trouxe, em todos os aspetos analisados pelo nosso estudo, o que significa que o impacto dos SGQ é positivo e as organizações têm muito a ganhar com a certificação.
The study was conducted in order to understand the effects of ISO 9001 in the companies and their events and the impacts of their evolution. This work was carried out in order to show that organizations should invest in certification as a form of evolution and innovation, as it brings them advantages over non-certified competitors. The method used to develop this work was basically a first step, analyze the evolution of quality, both in Portugal and in a general setting. Then we made an approach to measuring the performance of organizations, refering to their development and some systems for measuring the same. Subsequently we analyze the birth of ISO 9000 and its evolution from 1993 to 2013, not forgetting to mention their main requirements and advantages. In order to strengthen and support the theories discussed through the work was carried out an empirical study based on a survey. The investigation aims to analyze the impact of QMS in organizations. The survey was given to organizations, which according to the database used, have an implemented ISO 9001 QMS. For the date collected through the survey response, they were analyzed by a graphical analysis to get a more clear analysis of the results. In the end we found that most organizations are very satisfied with the effects that the implementation of ISO 9001 brought them in all aspects analyzed in our study, which means that the impact of QMS, is positive and organizations have much to gain with certification
