A arquitetura presente nos festivais de música

Abstract

Os festivais de música são eventos artísticos que acontecem num espaço e tempo limitados, cada um com a sua própria singularidade e extravagância. Dado o caráter transitório e único desses eventos, muitos se perguntam se existe uma tipologia arquitetónica específica para festivais. No entanto, essa questão levanta a importância da arquitetura na criação e desenvolvimento de um festival de música. Com base nesses fatores, o objetivo deste trabalho é identificar a importância da arquitetura no desenvolvimento de festivais de música. Serão analisados diferentes tipos de estruturas arquitetónicas implementadas nesses festivais, por meio de estudos de caso, a fim de estabelecer e comprovar o seu impacto nos próprios festivais. A metodologia utilizada neste estudo foi dividida em duas partes. A primeira consistiu na coleta de dados relevantes sobre os conceitos importantes para a investigação. A segunda foi focada na análise exploratória dos casos de estudo e das suas estruturas. O método permitiu compreender como estes elementos afetam a dinâmica do festival e o caracterizam. A aplicação dessas informações possibilitou uma análise mais detalhada sobre o impacto significativo das estruturas nos festivais, demonstrando a importância da arquitetura nos mesmos. Como resultado desta dissertação obtêm-se dados que permitem concluir que a estratégia da utilização de estruturas icónicas implementadas nos festivais de música contribuem para potencializar a dinâmica espacial dos festivais, destacando as suas características únicas. A pesquisa indica, ainda, que a disposição das estruturas e a sua relação com o espaço circundante pode influenciar a experiência dos participantes, aumentando a interação social e a sensação de pertencimento. Music festivals are artistic events that occur within a limited space and time, each with its own singularity and extravagance. Given the transitory and unique nature of these events, many wonder if there is a specific architectural typology for festivals. However, this question raises the importance of architecture in the creation and development of a music festival. Based on these factors, the aim of this work is to identify the importance of architecture in the development of music festivals. Different types of architectural structures implemented in these festivals will be analyzed through case studies, in order to establish and prove their impact on the festivals themselves. The methodology used in this study was divided into two parts. The first consisted of collecting relevant data on important concepts for the investigation. The second focused on the exploratory analysis of the case studies and their structures. The method allowed us to understand how these elements affect the dynamics of the festival and characterize it. The application of this information enabled a more detailed analysis of the significant impact of structures on festivals, demonstrating the importance of architecture in them. As a result of this dissertation, data was obtained that allows us to conclude that the strategy of using iconic structures implemented in music festivals contributes to enhancing the spatial dynamics of the festivals, highlighting their unique characteristics. The research also indicates that the arrangement of structures and their relationship with the surrounding space can influence the participants' experience, increasing social interaction and a sense of belonging.
