| dc.description.abstract | A leitura é considerada como uma atividade de extrema importância para o desenvolvimento integral da criança. E a criação de várias estratégias para que o desenvolvimento das competências da leitura seja motivado sempre foram os principais objetivos da intervenção dos educadores e profissionais que trabalham com crianças. O presente estudo teve lugar no Serviço de Pediatria do Hospital Pedro Hispano com crianças hospitalizadas, onde foi realizada uma investigação sobre a leitura e seus hábitos. Debruça-se sobre o contributo da leitura enquanto estratégia para amenizar o internamento da criança hospitalizada, tendo como meio de atuação o contexto hospitalar pediátrico público português.. Os resultados sugerem que as crianças em estudo ainda mantêm hábitos de leitura mas a existência de estratégias motivadoras de leitura como a música e animação fazem com que a leitura seja mais apreciada. Em contexto hospitalar, as crianças encontram-se em conflito com a situação do internamento, e a leitura tem um papel mediador fundamental, promovendo uma melhor adaptação e comunicação entre a criança, família e equipa hospitalar. A Educação Social tem um contributo importante na vertente da educação não formal em contexto de hospitalização, de modo a proporcionar atividades animadoras e educativas que favorecem o desenvolvimento e adaptação ao meio que a criança está inserida, educando-a para uma nova realidade e contexto que é o internamento e o Hospital. Sendo objetivo educativo facilitar as interações pedagógicas e promover a melhoria da qualidade de vida da criança hospitalizada, a Educação Social está dirigida, neste estudo, para uma educação para a saúde. Esperamos que este trabalho de investigação seja uma mais-valia para novas reflexões sobre esta temática. The reading is considered as an activity of extreme importance for the integral development of the child. And the creation of several strategies for the development of is motivated always were the main objectives of the intervention of educators and professionals who work with children. This study took place in the Department of Pediatrics of Hospital Pedro Hispano with hospitalized children, where it was performed a research on the reading and their habits. Focuses on the contribution of reading as a strategy to soften the internment of the hospitalized child, having as a means of action in the context of the hospital pediatric portuguese public. The results suggest that children in study still keeps reading habits but the existence of motivating strategies of reading as the music and animation make the reading is more appreciated. In a hospital context, the children are in conflict with the situation of internment, and the reading has a mediator role fundamental, promoting a better adaptation and communication between the child, family and hospital staff. The Social Education has an important contribution in the area of non-formal education in a context of hospitalization, so as to provide activities and encouraging educational that favor the development and adaptation to the environment that the child is inserted, educating them to a new reality and context that the internment and the Hospital. Being objective educational facilitates the interactions pedagogical and promotes the improvement of quality of life of the hospitalized child Social Education is addressed in this study, for a health education. We hope that with this research will be a valuable asset to new thoughts on this topic. | pt_PT |
