| dc.description.abstract | Em Portugal, a oferta habitacional existente para idosos destina-se a pessoas que já têm significativas limitações psíquicas ou motoras. Não existe um modelo habitacional para uma fase prévia para pessoas seniores que não reúnem condições para habitar sozinhas, mas que ainda tem uma vida social ativa e baixa necessidade de apoio e supervisão adulta. O modelo de cohousing sénior foi a solução encontrada para responder a esta “falha” de mercado. Este conceito assenta na criação de uma comunidade sénior com habitações independentes, que conta com vários espaços comuns, permitindo o convívio e partilha de refeições entre os residentes. Este projeto pretende desenhar um plano de negócios para a criação de uma estrutura residencial para idosos na cidade de Águeda, baseando-se no conceito do cohousing. O objetivo será avaliar se existe viabilidade no mercado local para a criação deste tipo de solução por parte de uma organização com fins lucrativos. O projeto concluiu que do ponto de vista da procura futura por parte da população local e regional poderão existir bons indicadores que perspetivam sucesso para o negócio. No entanto, o processo de licenciamento e aprovação deste modelo residencial por prevê-se que seja extremamente difícil face à legislação atual. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In Portugal, the existing housing offer for the elderly is aimed at people who already have relevant mental or motor limitations. There is no housing model for a previous phase for senior people who do not have the conditions to live alone, but who still have an active social life and a low need for adult support and supervision. The senior cohousing model was the solution found to respond to this market “failure”. This concept is based on the creation of a senior community with independent housing, which has several common spaces, allowing the living and sharing of meals between residents. This project intends to design a business plan for the creation of a residential structure for the elderly in the city of Águeda, based on the concept of cohousing. The objective will be to assess whether there is viability in the local market for the creation of this type of solution by a for-profit organization. The project concluded that from the point of view of future demand by the local and regional population, there may be good indicators that predict success for the business. However, the licensing and approval process for this residential model is expected to be extremely difficult in view of current legislation. | pt_PT |
