| person.description | I am currently an Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering and Management at Portucalense University. I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Aveiro, developed in collaboration with Cardiff University, as well as a specialization in Data Science Engineering from Técnico+. My research focuses on formulating strategies to instigate Industry 5.0, emphasizing the central role of the human being in the technological revolution. As a Researcher at IEETA and an Invited Researcher at the Enterprise Excellence Network, I have contributed to several research projects and publications in the fields of lean production, business process management, information systems, data visualization, knowledge management, human factors, and workforce engagement and retention. I am also a co-creator of a digital platform to monitor and promote labor engagement, developed in collaboration with Bosch Termotecnologia, IKEA Industry, and OLI – Sistemas Sanitários. Over the course of my career, I have received 23 awards recognizing my academic excellence, research contributions, and innovation. I am passionate about applying my expertise to address real-world challenges and advance scientific knowledge in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management. | |
