| person.description | Ana Cláudia Pereira Bártolo, graduated in Psychology, holds a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, and earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Aveiro. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at the Universidade Portucalense and is an integrated member of CINTESIS@RISE. Additionally, she holds the position of Vice-President of the Scientific Council at the Portuguese Academy of Psycho-Oncology. Her professional trajectory has been predominantly devoted to participating in and leading projects focused on health promotion and the enhancement of quality of life. As a researcher, she has played an active role in the collection, processing, and analysis of data related to determinants influencing health in various areas, notably in oncology, infertility, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, kidney disease, dementia, among others. Within the scope of the projects she has been involved in, she has taken on the coordination of two technical publications in the field of psychology. Her scholarly contributions include the publication of over 40 scientific articles in internationally indexed journals and over 30 abstracts in journals with national and/or international circulation. Recognized for her work, she has received three awards/distinctions and has contributed to over 70 presentations at scientific events, disseminating the results of her research. Her research focuses primarily on health psychology, with an emphasis on promoting the quality of life in the context of chronic illnesses, reproductive health, and parenthood. | |
