Biography
Suhayla Khalil Viana de Castro holds a PhD from the Institute of International Relations at the University of São Paulo, a Master's degree in Strategic Studies (Political Science Department) from the Fluminense Federal University, a Master's degree in Public and European International Law from University of Coimbra and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Portucalense Infante Dom Henrique - Law Department and a researcher at Portucalense Legal Institute. She has been visiting doctoral student at Sciences Po-Paris and at the University Institute for Development and Cooperation (IUDC) at the University Complutense of Madrid. She has also been a professor at the graduate school of the São Paulo School of Sociology and Politics Foundation - FESPSP and a research associate at the Centre for International Studies of ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon), a collaborator researcher at the Center for Global Law and Development at the São Paulo Law School at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and a member of the Advisory Evaluation Committee of the International Relations Area designated by INEP / MEC. She has published scientific articles and served as a reviewer for leading academic journals in Latin America and Europe.
