| dc.description.abstract | This article explores the transformative effects of shifting workplace culture from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset on employees’ cognitive function and overall well-being. The scarcity mindset, characterized by limited resource perception and heightened stress, can impair productivity and mental health in professional settings. Drawing on cognitive load theory and organizational culture research, this qualitative study employs in-depth interviews and focus groups to analyze how an abundance-oriented culture fosters reduced cognitive load, greater cognitive flexibility, creativity, and psychological wellness. Findings reveal emergent themes linking cultural shifts to enhanced cognitive performance and improved employee well-being, supported by case studies of organizations undergoing this transition. The study discusses the theoretical and practical implications for organizational leadership and provides recommendations to cultivate an abundance mindset that promotes healthier, more effective workplaces. Limitations and directions for future research are also considered. | |
