O Teu Mestre: Uma experiência de ensino da Matemática à distância.

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem por objectivo discutir o quadro actual da educação à distância e analisar a implementação de uma ferramenta inovadora de ensino à distância. Inicialmente é feita uma revisão da literatura com o intuito de fazer o enquadramento teórico do tema. No segundo e terceiro capítulo é analisada a implementação de uma ferramenta inovadora de ensino à distância “O teu Mestre” na escola Eb. 2/3 de Sátão, bem como a análise dos resultados do inquérito feito aos alunos que usufruíram do serviço. Por último, foi apresentado uma proposta de futuro para o projecto envolvendo cinco escolas e dois hospitais. O trabalho organizou-se em torno da ideia de que a educação à distância é uma mais valia, com um potencial na nossa realidade educacional apesar das dificuldades que o ensino à distância apresenta. Num momento em que há uma aposta concreta nas novas tecnologias de informação no sistema de ensino, a educação à distância surge como uma preciosa ajuda no apoio aos nossos alunos com o objectivo de responder às grandes dificuldades na aprendizagem da Matemática. The current work aims to discuss the distance education framework and analize the implementation of an innovative tool of distance teaching. Inicially, a literary revision is made in order to set the theoretical theme framework. The second and third chapter analizes the the implementation of an innovative distance teaching tool "O teu Mestre" in the school EB 2/3 Sátão, as well as the results of the survey made by the students who have used the service. Finally, a proposition was made for the future project involving five schools and two hospitals. The work was organized around the idea that distance education is an asset, with a potential in our educational reality in spite of difficulties that distance learning presents. At a time when there is a serious bet on new information technology in education, the distance education emerges as a valuable aid in the support of our students in order to meet the big difficulties in learning mathematics.
