Atuação das políticas públicas no combate à exploração infantil e ao trabalho escravo

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo principal analisar a atuação das políticas públicas no combate ao trabalho escravo no Brasil e ao trabalho infantil no Brasil e em Portugal, abordando as iniciativas institucionais nacionais e supranacionais a respeito e fazendo breve apanhado histórico das questões. O exame dos casos com atenção à evolução da legislação e transformação do cenário laboral foi o caminho escolhido para a elaboração de possíveis respostas à conjuntura das circunstâncias que integram o objeto desta dissertação. Para o cumprimento da proposta de pesquisa, foram utilizadas fontes bibliográficas e documentais de autores do Direito com expertise nas áreas abordadas e de instituições atuantes nos âmbitos que permeiam a realidade dos fenômenos sociais observados. The main objective of this dissertation is to analyze the role of public policies in the fight against slave labor in Brazil and child labor in Brazil and Portugal, approaching the national and supranational institutional initiatives in this regard and making a brief historical overview of the issues. The examination of the cases with attention to the evolution of legislation and the transformation of the labor scenario was the path chosen to elaborate possible answers to the conjuncture of circumstances that make up the object of this dissertation. In order to fulfill the research proposal, we used bibliographic and documental sources from authors of the Law with expertise in the areas addressed and from institutions active in the areas that permeate the reality of the social phenomena observed.
