Abstract
O objetivo do presente relatório é analisar a satisfação geral dos hóspedes com
a qualidade dos serviços prestados no hotel HL Paradise Island localizado na ilha de
Lanzarote, nas Ilhas Canárias, Espanha, com especial enfoque no departamento de
animação. O estágio organizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Turismo e Hospitalidade,
teve lugar no departamento de animação do referido hotel, de 3 fevereiro a 26 abril de
2020.
A fim de garantir o sucesso e a competitividade das empresas de hospitalidade,
é essencial considerar a satisfação do cliente, uma vez que tem impacto no
comportamento futuro e no processo de tomada de decisão dos clientes. Para efeitos
de análise da satisfação, foram utilizadas avaliações online dos hospedes em
plataformas e bases de dados populares, tais como TripAdvisor, Booking, Google e
website do hotel. Os resultados ilustram que a satisfação geral dos hospedes com o
hotel e o departamento de animação é positiva, com um número insignificante de
comentários críticos, como forma de encorajar o hotel a fazer melhorias e a aumentar
a qualidade dos serviços. Assim, os gestores do hotel são encorajados a diversificar
os serviços no departamento de animação para atrair e satisfazer mais clientes e
aumentar a sua lealdade.
The purpose of this report is to analyse customers overall satisfaction with the quality of the services provided in the HL Paradise Island hotel located on the island of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, Spain, with a special focus on animation department. The internship organized in the frame of Master in Tourism and Hospitality degree took place in the HL Paradise Island hotel's animation department from 3rd february to 26th april, 2020. In order to guarantee success and competitiveness of hospitality businesses, it is essential to consider the customer satisfaction, since it impacts on future behaviour and decision-making process of the customers. For the purpose of satisfaction analysis, customers online reviews on popular platforms and databases such as TripAdvisor, Booking, Google and website of the hotel was used. The findings illustrate that overall satisfaction of the guests with the hotel and animation department is positive, with an insignificant number of critical comments, as a way of encouraging the hotel to make improvements and increase the quality of services. Thus, the hotel managers are encouraged to diversify the services in the department of animation to attract and satisfy more customers and increase their loyalty.
