A gestão da escola pública secundária do II ciclo geral BG 5186/Ganda: Um contributo para a melhoria da qualidade de ensino

Abstract

Neste trabalho, pretende-se estudar as práticas de gestão da Escola Pública Secundária II Ciclo do Ensino Geral do Município da Ganda, província de Benguela. Neste sentido, é dada particular atenção aos seguintes aspetos: a evolução da educação em Angola e do seu sistema educativo, os contributos teóricos da gestão escolar, a qualidade de ensino, a necessidade da utilização de modelos de gestão que permitam a descentralização do sistema educativo, a participação da comunidade, a autonomia na gestão das escolas e a mudança de funcionamento dos órgãos de gestão. No plano metodológico, esta investigação recorre ao paradigma quantitativo, com inquéritos por questionário dirigidos à direção da escola, aos professores, a pessoal administrativo e aos alunos que serviu para, a partir da amostra (n=166), compreender melhor a problemática em análise. A avaliação dos resultados, de forma quantitativa, deu para confrontar as ideias dos autores, com a realidade que a escola demonstra ter, além de revelar resultados importantes que abrem caminhos a futuras investigações. In this research, we intend to study the management practices of public school secondary 2 cycle of general teaching in Ganda municipality, in Benguela province. In this sense, it is given a particular attention of the following points: the evolution of education in Angola and your educational system, the theoretical contributions of school management, the quality of teaching, the necessity of use example of management which permits the decentralization of educational system, the participation of community, the change of management working organs. In the methodological plan, the investigation resort of the quantitative paradigm with a questionnaire directed to the direction of school, to the teachers, to the administrative staff and to the students which served to, from the sample (n=166), to understanding better the problematic in analysis. The evaluation of results, in the quantitative form, gave to confront the ideas of the authors, with the reality that school demonstrates having, without showing the results which open the way to futures investigations.
