Abstract
The study explores the complex relationship between the adopting of digital technology, corporate internationalization, and sector-specific insights. It assesses how different levels of digital technology adoption are apparent in different activities. This way, the study involves two distinct models, analyzing seven key digital technologies. To this end, a quantitative methodology was applied to 16,365 companies. The results suggest that the internationalization of a company has a positive correlation with the adoption of the technologies studied. Company size also contributes to the adoption rate. The study also highlights that the company’s activity impacts technology adoption. By addressing these gaps identified in the existing literature, the study offers a comprehensive view of technological adoption in different economic activities. This research clearly shows which digital technologies within enterprise systems should be integrated based on current industry adoption.
