Projeto de investimento-risco: Criação de valor.

Abstract

No âmbito do Mestrado em Finanças foi realizado o presente Relatório de Actividade Profissional, com visa à obtenção do grau académico de Mestre. Depois de uma breve referência a conceitos como tipos de projetos de investimento, fases de um projeto de investimento, fontes de financiamento e planos de negócios é prestada particular atenção às técnicas de análise de investimentos. Como os valores de um projeto de investimento e da opção de investir são afetados pela incerteza associada a variáveis relevantes, então a análise desse investimento deve incorporar essas eventuais variações. Neste relatório também é dada particular atenção à análise em risco. Tema importante neste trabalho é a criação de valor para acionista, nomeadamente em projetos de investimento. Neste Relatório também se faz uma abordagem sobre o papel do diretor financeiro no passado e no presente. Por último apresenta-se um projeto de investimento que a "Beltiga-Fábrica de Produtos Metálicos, Lda" submeteu ao Prime-Sime, e elaborado pelo autor deste Relatório. The present Professional Activity Report was drawn up within the scope of the Msc in Finance, with a view to obtaining the degree of Master. After a brief review of subjects such, as capital budgeting projects classification, stages of an investment sources of financing and elaboration of business plans, the methods of capital budgeting valuation are examined. The project value and the value of the option to invest depend on uncertainty of the relevant unknows. Therefore, a corret valuation of investments should take into account possible changes in those unknows. Within the present report, projet analysis under risk is disclosed. Value creation to stockholder, namely through investements, is analyzed in this work. This Report also presents anm approach about the role of the Chief Financial Officer, both in an historical perspective and at nowdays. Finally, was presented a capital budgeting analysis on an investment carried out by a Portuguese company called "Beltiga" and submitted to Prime-Sime subsidies, elaborated by the author of the present report.
