Trabalho colaborativo e articulação curricular: A biblioteca escolar e o programa de português do ensino básico.

Abstract

Este estudo tem como principal objetivo refletir sobre o contributo da Biblioteca Escolar na implementação dos novos Programas de Português do Ensino Básico e no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, tendo como base um estudo empírico sobre o trabalho colaborativo entre a Biblioteca Escolar e os professores de Português, realizado em três agrupamentos de escolas do distrito de Viseu. A Biblioteca Escolar é um meio facilitador do processo de ensino e aprendizagem, através da dinamização de todos os recursos nela existentes, da promoção de atividades conducentes ao desenvolvimento da competência leitora dos discentes, da formaçã o para as diferentes literacias e uso das tecnologias de informação e comunicação , com vista à formação de leitores competentes e críticos e de forma a facultar a necessária aprendizagem ao longo da vida. O trabalho colaborativo, concretizado na articulação curricular entre a Biblioteca Escolar e os professores de Português, de acordo com a nossa opinião, poderá desempenhar um papel preponderante nas mudanças de que o ensino do Português exige, sobretudo ao nível da leitura e das linhas orientadoras relativas a este domínio consignadas nos Programas de Português do Ensino Básico, sendo a aprendizagem leitora uma área de abordagem essencial comum aos docentes de Português e às equipas dinamizadoras das bibliotecas escolares. Procuramos que o presente trabalho de investigação seja o reflexo do caminho a percorrer para aprofundar a compreensão da problemática da integração da Biblioteca Escolar na área curricular disciplinar, por meio de um trabalho colaborativo entre o professor bibliotecário e os professores de Português, numa altura em que a implementação de um novo programa constitui um desafio na escola atual. This study has as its main purpose thinking over the contribute of the School Library in the implementation of the new Basic Education Portuguese Programmes and in the process of teaching and learning, having as a basis an empirical work about the collaborative work between the School Library and the teachers of Portuguese, taking place in three School Clusters located in the central zone of the country (Viseu county). The School Library is a facilitating means of the process of teaching and learning, through the promotion of whole its existing resources, the development of activities leading to the students’ reading competence, the formation for the different literacies and the use of the information and communication technologies, in order to create competent and critic readers and in such a way as to promote the necessary apprenticeship throughout life. In our opinion, collaborative work, embodied in the curricular articulatio n between the School Library and the teachers of Portuguese, can play an important role in the changes that the teaching of Portuguese demands, especially in the reading and in the guidelines related to this domain contained in the new Basic Education Portuguese Programmes, in which the reading apprenticeship is an essential approach area common to all the teachers of Portuguese and to the promoting teams of the school libraries. Our purpose is that the present research work becomes a reflection of the way to go into a deeper understanding of the problem of integrating the School Library in the Portuguese curriculum subject through a collaborative work between the librarian teacher and the teachers of Portuguese, at a time when the implementation of a new programme is a challenge for today’s school.
