Women's and children's rights in violent conflitct zones

Abstract

In a world where conflicts do exist, there are women and children involved. Women and children who appear in a situation of extreme fragility and in the need for a special protection from international bodies such as the one we are in today. They need a wider and more real protection ensured by the implementation of international law norms and mechanisms.
