Abstract
O objetivo geral deste estudo é a caraterização da
afetividade e do raciocínio em adolescentes que
frequentam o 9º ano de escolaridade, assim como o
estudo da associação das variáveis psicológicas, entre si,
e da associação destas variáveis com variáveis
sóciodemográficas. Os construtos psicológicos
contemplados são a afetividade positiva, a afetividade
negativa, e os raciocínios. A amostra é constituída por
226 estudantes do ensino básico português. São
discutidos os resultados tomando a idade, o gosto pela
escola, e as classificações escolares dos alunos. Por
último, sinalizam-se implicações para a prática
psicológica e para a prática pedagógica.
The general objective of this study is the characterization of affectivity and reasoning in adolescents who attend the 9th year of schooling, as well as the study of the association of psychological variables with each other and with socio-demographic variables. The psychological constructs contemplated in this study are positive affectivity, negative affectivity, and reasoning. The sample is made up of 226 Portuguese elementary school students. The results are discussed by taking the age, the taste for the school, and the classifications of the students. Finally, implications for the psychological practice and the pedagogical practice are signaled.
