Abstract
Tras un breve recorrido histórico sobre la consolidación del Derecho a la Educación, se
analiza cómo la Sociedad Internacional, durante las últimas décadas, ha desarrollado
diversos instrumentos para visibilizar, exigir y precisar el Derecho a la Educación
en Derechos Humanos, y cómo en España, tras diversos obstáculos, los pequeños
avances hacia una correcta Educación en Derechos Humanos, conseguidos con la
implantación, en la Ley Orgánica de Educación del 3 de mayo de 2006, de Educación
para la Ciudadanía, están siendo paralizados ante las exigencias de un movimiento
social, de tendencia neoconservadora católica, completamente alejado del Discurso
Internacional de los Derechos Humanos.
after a brief historical overview of the consolidation of the right to education, discusses how the international society, during the last decades, has developed several tools to visualize, specify and demand the right to Human rights education, and how in spain, after various obstacles, small steps towards a successful human rights education, achieved with the introduction, in the organic law of education may 3, 2006, of education for citizenship, are being paralyzed by the demands of a social movement, of catholic neoconservative trend, away from the international discourse of Human rights.
