Biografia
Ana Carla Machado holds a PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Porto, a Master’s degree in Pedagogical Supervision, and a degree in Education, with a specialization in Social Pedagogy and Training, from Universidade Aberta. She is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Portucalense, Coordinator of Area 3: Digital Resources and Distance Learning at the Office of Pedagogical Innovation, Universidade Portucalense, and a Collaborative Researcher at CIIE – Centre for Research and Intervention in Education, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Porto.
Her academic and scientific work focuses on digital education, e-learning, b-learning, teacher education, adult education, digital inclusion, and learning in vulnerable contexts, with a particular emphasis on digital education in prison settings. Her current research interests also include teachers’ digital competences. She is the author and co-author of scientific publications and conference presentations at national and international meetings.
